AMATEUR LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
The FCC requires amateur radio operators to be licensed in accordance with 47 CFR Part 97. Licenses can be obtained by successfully completing a license examination administered by radio operators accredited with one or more Volunteer Examiner Coordinators (VEC).
The Club has multiple members who are accredited Volunteer Examiners (VE) with the ARRL VEC. Regular amateur radio exam sessions are held by the Club in accordance with the schedule listed below. If you are unable to make one of these sessions, please contact the Club testing coordinator Michael Reinecke, KG5DAC, at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a separate testing session.
